Lunch Time LIVE: A Midday Concert Tradition Downtown

Every Tuesday this summer, Lunch Time LIVE! brings free outdoor concerts to the Capitol Square from 12–1 p.m., June through August. Hosted on the King Street walkway, this weekly event is the perfect midday break — whether you’re stepping out of the office for fresh air, meeting up with friends for a casual lunch, or just looking to enjoy live local music in the heart of the city.

Chairs are provided on-site, or bring a blanket and find a sunny spot on the Capitol lawn. With dozens of quick lunch options nearby, it’s easy to grab something to-go and make the most of the hour.

With many ULI residential and commercial properties just steps from the action, it’s one more reason we love being part of downtown Madison. Bring a chair, grab your favorite local lunch to-go, and enjoy the music.
