The Capitol Squares newest restaurant has officially opened its doors! Lucille had its soft opening on Thursday, May 12th and will have limited hours until Tuesday, May 17th, when they open fully.
Located in what used to be the Isthmus Publishing building at the top of King Street, Lucille promises to be a great addition to the downtown Madison restaurant scene. The menu includes a variety of pizzas and other bar staples, made from locally-sourced food, as well as a craft beer and cocktail list. The pizzas are made from scratch and baked in a one-of-a-kind wood-fired pizza oven. The building itself has undergone a complete renovation from office space to a three-level, music-centric restaurant that highlights historic building features while creating a new space all its own.
After May 17th, the restaurant will be open from 11am to bar close Monday- Friday, 10 am to bar close Saturday, and 5pm (or 1 hour before any Packer Game) until bar close on Sunday. This schedule promises delicious lunch, dinner, and late night food, with $10 lunch time specials and more.
