Each summer Madison residents embark on the Capitol Square to enjoy weekly “Concerts on the Square” performed by the celebrated Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra led by Maestro Andrew Sewell. The first season of Concerts on the Square took place in the Summer of 1984 with the generous support by the founding sponsors from the Evjue Foundation and the Norman Bassett Foundation. ULI is proud to help support this classic Madison series that continues to add vitality to the Capitol Square each summer.
The Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra performs approximately 25 concerts per year.
