Lake City Books Celebrates Grand Opening

Urban Land Interests is excited to welcome Lake City Books to its new home at 120 S. Carroll Street!

Today marked an exciting milestone as community members, and the Lake City Books team gathered to celebrate the bookstore's Grand Opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony. The move reflects the remarkable growth the independent bookstore has experienced since opening in downtown Madison in 2023 and creates even more opportunities for the community to gather, explore, and connect. 

The expanded location features a larger selection of books, additional space for author events and community programming, a beautiful outdoor patio, and a thoughtfully curated wine bar. With its signature blue bookshelves and welcoming atmosphere, the new space was designed to be more than just a bookstore—it’s a destination where readers of all ages can spend time, discover something new, and enjoy being part of downtown Madison.
