Marigold Expands Lakeside Dining with Golden Flash Cart

Madison summers are all about getting outside, enjoying the lakes, and taking advantage of everything the city has to offer. This season, Marigold Kitchen is making it even easier to enjoy great local food while spending time on the water.

Building on the success of last year's Lake Wingra location, Marigold has expanded its outdoor food service with the launch of the Golden Flash Cart. The new venture brings breakfast and lunch options directly to some of Madison's most popular recreation areas, serving kayakers, paddle boarders, rowers, cyclists, and lake-goers throughout the summer.

The Golden Flash Cart will be located at Lake Wingra on Tuesdays and at Brittingham Park Thursdays through Sundays. Both locations offer convenient access for those looking to grab a meal while enjoying Madison's lakes and bike paths.

When to Visit

The Golden Flash Cart is expected to operate from approximately 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., making it a convenient stop for breakfast, coffee, lunch, or a quick bite before heading out on the water.

Guests can find the Golden Flash Cart:

• Tuesdays at Lake Wingra
• Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at Brittingham Park

The menu features a variety of Marigold favorites and scratch-made offerings, including the Marigold Classic breakfast sandwich, Baja Burrito, Summer Berry French Toast Sticks, Morning Magic Tacos, and house-baked pastries. Visitors can also enjoy fresh fruit, overnight oats, yogurt parfaits, fresh-squeezed orange juice, coffee, cold brew, and seasonal beverages.

In addition to its regular menu, the Golden Flash Cart plans to feature rotating seasonal specials and limited-time offerings throughout the summer, giving guests new reasons to stop by all season long.

Whether you're heading out on the water, enjoying a bike ride, or simply spending a sunny afternoon outdoors, the Golden Flash Cart offers a new way to experience one of Madison's favorite local restaurants.
